"If you were to walk around, two hundred years ago, from California to Alaska you would see, wear and live northwest coast art and culture. I want to be a part of the movement that will allow this to happen once again." - Edzerza

Starting with Art first!

I fell in love with Victor Goertz’s tree studies which have exciting colour combinations and engaging shapes. These works seemed to make room for AMSSA’s corporate colours and ideology. My colour palette was inspired by his painting “Reach” and I was pleased that Katie fell in love with the palette and the art as well!"

in honour of Indigenous Peoples Day, I wanted to recognize all the amazing Indigenous designers across Turtle Island that I’ve ever had the pleasure of modelling for (I apologize in advance if I missed any of you! my phone & reels can only handle so much 🫂)

from starting out modelling in an old friends makeshift studio on X̱wemelch'stn (Capliano Indian Reserve No. 5) to now being apart of @supernaturals.modelling and flying out to Santa Fe, New Mexico and hopefully many more places🙏🏽

I can’t begin to explain how proud I am to be apart of this growth. To not only watch myself but see each model, designer & everyone else who’s included in the process, evolve over time.

I still hope each and every one of you can educate yourselves on Indigenous culture. To continue to learn more about the hardships we’ve gone through & also know that we are still here, overcoming them with all our strength to this day.

Today let’s uplift each other and celebrate where we came from, where we are going, and everything in between. Let’s be there for each other whenever possible 🙌🏽♥️
