JOY! JOY! JOY!

Thankful for this week! Thankful for this life! Thankful for the God we serve! Thankful to be fully known & loved! Thankful for FCA! Thankful for a God who equips! THANKFUL FOR THE JOY OF THE LORD!

One of my prayers recently has been: God, let what hurts you hurt me. My biggest fear is that I become numb to the truth that Jesus died for my sins. Sometimes “Jesus died for you” can be said loosely, without intention or weight behind it. And yet, that sentence carries the biggest weight of all.

While I reflect on what the Lord has done and I have the pictures that captured the highs and joys from camp, I am also reminded of the pain and brokenness that was carried into it. The tears falling, the hard conversations, the late nights. And although I might not have the pictures of it, those parts of the camp will be remembered and have more of an impact on my life than anything else. It’s why we’re here. To be set free. To disciple disciples. To sit at the feet of Jesus.

John 16:33
“I have told you these things so that in me you may have peace. You will have suffering in this world. Be courageous! I have conquered the world.””

Who else is worthy? Who else is worthy? There is no one, only you, Jesus.

God MOVED this week. His presence was overwhelming and this generation is LONGING for Him. I was blessed with the opportunity to pour into 13 middle school girls for 4 days. I think in those 4 days they poured significantly more into me, than I did to them. They were on fire for the Lord and truly demonstrated the love & joy of Christ to each other.

I was also incredibly blessed to become a part of a community of believers who encouraged one another and truly led this week. The Lord is incredibly intentional & I know he gave us each of our campers for a very specific purpose. Thank you Jesus for these sweet, sweet friendships, for mentorship, and for belonging. All praises to the King for an awesome week and these kids’ eternities forever changed!!!!

What a blessing of a day ✝️

Some of our Klein Cain FCA athletes had the opportunity to serve at the 18th Annual FCA Golf Tournament ⛳️ connecting with donors who make a real impact on our campus and beyond.

We even got to watch 5x World Long Drive Championship qualifier Ian Griscom in action 💥 and had our own Hurricane Caden Koop challenging donors to see if they could outshoot him bringing the energy all day!

Because of their effort and engagement, our FCA members on their own helped raise over $1,000 for FCA today 🙏💯

But more than anything, today was about fellowship, serving others, and being surrounded by people who truly make a difference. So proud of these student-athletes and their servant hearts.

More opportunities coming soon this is just the beginning 🤍
