You don’t need to know how to pose for your engagement session

Your photographer should direct you rather than expect you to magically know what to do.

The best photos often come from movement and interaction.

Walking, talking, laughing, dancing, and simply being together create natural images.

Engagement sessions are also a chance to learn how your photographer works before the wedding.

Engagement sessions are designed to not only be fun but to get to know your photographer better, on their personality, the way they shoot, etc.
.
Our engagement sessions are all about the couple and finding their connection, rather if they are more serious or enjoy the laugh. the main point is to have fun...and get some awesome photos while we do:)

A few of my favorites from Emily and Patrick's session in New Orleans, now I get to witness them get married:)

While we are patiently waiting for @taylorswift and @killatrav wedding photos here are some that just feel like home.

Juliet chose the most beautiful palette for her bridesmaids—soft pastels that feel like a spring garden brought to life. From blush pinks to buttery yellows, delicate peaches, and soft sage tones, each dress was unique, yet together they created something effortlessly beautiful.

But what I love most is how perfectly those colors reflect Juliet herself. Warm, joyful, graceful, and full of light. She has a way of making everyone around her feel welcome and loved, and seeing her surrounded by her closest friends in these dreamy colors felt like a reflection of the beautiful life and relationships she’s built.

Some brides choose colors because they're trendy. Juliet chose colors that tell a story—one of friendship, happiness, and a day filled with so much love. 🤍🌸
