🇸🇷 week 3 in Suriname – PART 4 ❤️

👇 Wat zouden jullie kiezen?
🇸🇷 Suriname voor het eten
❤️ Suriname voor de gezelligheid
🌴 Suriname voor het binnenland

Ik ben benieuwd 👀👇

Latin-Asian fusions at SA’CHA had me in awe! 🤩

Those buttery-but-not-fatty cassava waffles were out of this world. The beetroot salad with sour-cream ice cream? Such a surprising and refreshing twist. 👌🏽

And the sea bream… grilled to absolute perfection! 🐟✨

A beautiful play of flavours, textures and unexpected combinations. 🔥

Fell in love with Surinam the last time, fell all over again the second time but this time through my sons eyes.

He moved like he already knew everything and everybody. The smiles, laughter, high fives, always looking up to see all the beauty, floating in the water with the happiest face, eating bami and markoesa like it was the only food on earth. Making friends at every stop and a whole lot of ‘Warung bonus grandma’s’ who gave him lots of food and love,
Instant at home.
