Couture, craftsmanship and where fashion goes next. I enjoyed leading a one-on-one conversation with legendary designer @cd.greene at the Chicago Fashion Summit hosted by @aibichicago

Known for his beautiful couture designs for icons including Tina Turner, Beyoncé, Mariah Carey and Whitney Houston, CD had so much to share about his career and the work behind the garments.

We talked about AI, technology, fast fashion and what it takes to create something exceptional. I wanted to explore how the industry is changing and why craftsmanship still matters.

Great stories, great insight and so good seeing everyone!

It rained and really poured with a crappy @chicagobears loss and Caleb getting hurt. But still a blast hanging with the fellas and the always banging #BetaNupes tailgate. And for the 1st time in nearly 25 years no postgame report to worry about! 🤷🏽‍♂️🐻

Last night was a beautiful reminder of what happens when a life touches so many people.

Happy 60th Birthday to my dear friend and brother, Darryl Petty.

I often joke that I have logged more phone hours with Darryl than any other human being I know. When I moved to Atlanta years ago, he made it a point to call me regularly....just about erday at the beginning of my move ….not because he needed anything, but simply to check on me. The conversation usually started the same way: “Brown Brown, you good?” Those four words always reminded me that I had someone in my corner.

Over the years, we’ve hosted some truly epic parties together, created unforgettable experiences, and shared countless laughs. And if there’s one thing I know for certain, it’s that I don’t know anyone more creative than this guy. His ability to dream big, bring people together, and create magic is unmatched.

Despite the storm, it was incredible to see so many people show up to celebrate him and demonstrate just how loved, respected, and valued he is. The room was filled with friends, colleagues, and admirers whose lives have been impacted by his generosity, vision, and friendship.

Darryl, thank you for being a brother, a confidant, a creative genius, and a constant source of encouragement. Here’s to 60 years of making an impact and many more to come.

Love you, my friend and my brother from another mother.

Btw- He was cleaner than the Board of Health. I know he’s glad I’m no longer asking him everyday what he’s wearing to his party. Ha!!

Albeit brief, had to pass through the Chi.
So good to see my sister, my girls, and my guys.

Swung by Harold’s twice for some chicken and fries,
Then laid eyes on my dad… and how time flies.

Spent some quality time with my Tee Tees, reflecting on Rev. Jackson’s legacy and all the lives he touched and helped rise.

Now it’s back to the friendly skies.
