We are glad to share the story behind our mission We address the critical social issue of plastic pollution and its associated environmental and health impacts. Single-use plastics contribute significantly to environmental degradation, accounting for nearly 50% of the plastic generated globally. Nigeria generates 2.5 million tonnes of plastic waste annually, ranking ninth globally in plastic pollution. Unfortunately, over 88% of this waste in Nigeria is not recycled, ending up in landfills.. Our mission is to reduce plastic waste and promote healthy living through innovative, environmentally friendly products. By offering edible, biodegradable alternatives, Edveen Cups reduce reliance on single-use plastics, promoting a healthier planet and enhancing community well-being by minimizing pollution. Edveen Cups is not solving environmental issues but serves as a healthy alternative for all ages. These fiber-rich, preservative-free cups offer a delicious and sustainable option for serving creams and yogurt. #Root4change #SustainableRoots #gogreen #rawmaterials #Ecoroots #efficiencydmi_sustainableroots #efficiencydmi_jpi #EfficiencyDMI #themostefficientsolutionwins @efficiencydmi

TEAM EWI MI FASHION VILLAGE PROJECT KULTURECYCLE: MODEL FOR ENVIRONMENTAL SUSTAINABILITY IN FASHION Problem Identification In Nigeria, the beautiful Aso Oke fabric is traditionally used only for special occasions due to its perceived high cost and limited versatility. Furthermore, the fashion industry faces challenges with environmental sustainability, particularly the disposal of used leather materials Solution Proposal At Ewi Mi Fashion Village, we've revolutionized the use of Aso Oke by creating a range of affordable, stylish, and versatile garments and accessories. From shirts and trousers to suits and gowns, all our products are crafted right here in Nigeria using authentic Aso Oke fabrics. We also address environmental concerns by repurposing discarded leather into new, fashionable accessories. Impact Our approach not only preserves cultural heritage but also reduces fashion waste, contributing to environmental sustainability. We provide local artisans with open employment and help reduce the environmental impact associated with the fashion industry. Feasibility and Economic Impact Our products are made using locally sourced materials, which helps us keep costs down and makes our clothing more accessible to a wider audience. This approach supports local economies and promotes the use of Nigerian raw materials. Thank You!
