Layla has talked about starting preschool for weeks. New backpack, new shoes, counting down the days & she couldn’t wait.

Then today came, and all that excitement turned into “I don’t want to go” the second we got to the door. She cried. I cried. I hated every second of walking away while she was scared and asking me to stay.

She’s my third baby, and somehow this is the first time one of them didn’t just walk in without a second glance back at me. I wasn’t ready for how much that would break my heart.

But she did it. She got through the hard part without me standing there and that’s growth for both of us, even if my heart is still recovering.

Celebrating 250 years of the greatest nation with my favorite people. ❤️🤍💙

There is something so special about gathering together beneath a sky full of fireworks, surrounded by family, while celebrating the country we are blessed to call home. My heart is overflowing with gratitude for the freedoms we enjoy every day and for the brave men and women, past and present, who have sacrificed so much to protect them.

The Fourth of July has always been my favorite holiday. It’s a day that reminds me just how fortunate we are and fills me with so much pride to call this beautiful country home.

Three years ago, our little Layla arrived and changed our world forever. 💛

Our sweet Layla is officially THREE! She loves all things yellow, animals, Paw Patrol, Gabby’s Dollhouse, and brings so much joy, laughter, and personality wherever she goes. She keeps us on our toes with her spunky spirit and reminds us every day that life is meant to be lived with wonder and excitement.

Watching her grow has been one of the greatest privileges of our lives. From her traumatic birth to all the milestones she’s worked so hard to reach, she has amazed us every step of the way. The strength, resilience, and determination she carries in such a tiny body continue to inspire us. We love you forever and always!

How do you even put an experience like the BTS concert into words? It was truly everything we dreamed of and more. From the second the music started, I had chills. There were moments I got emotional just taking it all in. 61,000 people gathered together, celebrating music, culture, and the success of seven incredibly talented humans. The energy in that stadium was unreal.

One of my favorite parts of the night was looking over at Scarlet with the biggest wide-eyed smile, singing, dancing, and waving her light stick around while experiencing the very first concert of her life. She was absolutely mesmerized. Watching Kaylee sing along to every single song and fan chant while finally seeing the group she’s loved for years perform live was so special too. And honestly, seeing Cameron fully fan-girling over his favorite member right alongside the rest of us made the whole night even more fun.

The members themselves were everything we hoped they’d be. Goofy, genuine, humble, and so full of gratitude toward their fans. No matter how massive their success is, they still took every moment to thank ARMY and truly connect with everyone there. It was so refreshing and honestly really moving to witness.

And somehow the night got even more magical. On our way out of the stadium, we unexpectedly ran into Bella and Clayton (aka Blippi)! The second Scarlet saw him, she ran right up and gave him the biggest hug. They were both incredibly kind and sweet, which made such a fun ending to an already unforgettable night.

All in all, it was one of those core memory nights we’ll treasure forever, and I’m so grateful we got to experience it with our oldest kiddos. 💜 #BTSVegasD2 #BTSvegas #BTSvegasconcert #BTSvegasday2

Tonight, Kaylee received the incredible honor of being named Student of the Year, and there truly aren’t enough words to describe how proud we are of her. Watching her work so hard, stay dedicated, and continue believing in herself has been such a gift to witness. She poured so much of her heart, creativity, and leadership into everything she did this year, especially in yearbook, and it’s so beautiful to see that recognized.

We are so thankful for the amazing teachers who saw her potential, encouraged her gifts, and helped her grow into the confident, creative young woman she is becoming. Junior high has been such a special chapter for her, and we know this is only the beginning of all the amazing things she will accomplish.

Kaylee, you inspire us every single day with your kindness, determination, and heart. We love you more than words can say, and we could not be prouder of you. 🩵 #studentoftheyear #nightofexcellence
