POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Some homes stay with you. 801 Antietam Drive is one of those places. From the first time I wandered past the chickens + firepit, through the woods to Flat Creek, and into the whimsical spaces my clients created, I felt transported. It never felt like just another listing—it felt like stepping into someone's reverie.
Today I said goodbye one last time.

Behind every one of my closings is a remarkable team of people. I'm so grateful to my wonderful sellers for trusting me with such a special property—and for their generosity. From fresh eggs from their chickens and local Dodon Vineyards wine at our open houses, their impeccable record keeping, to the stories behind every corner of the property, it was always the little things that made this place unforgettable. It truly took a village. Thank you to my co-listing partner, Liz Osborn, for her market wisdom and sleeves-up teamwork; Connie Gauthier for photography that captured the soul of this home; Cat Eye Productions family Kin West and Larkin Kern for our filmmakers x real estate staging collaboration; Washingtonian for featuring the property and Jackson Steppe for creating a unique real estate commercial; my CB Church Circle colleagues for their support; buyer's agent Tim Velasco for being a collaborative professional; Woods Wednesday crew for being game for the wildest real estate marketing idea, EFF painting for making the home sparkle, and the team at C.L.A. Title for keeping all the moving pieces on track.

The average time on market in Davidsonville at this price point is about 32 days—we landed real close. Interestingly, we had more showings during our final week than any other week and ultimately received multiple offers. It was a good reminder that strong strategy and marketing—and a little patience—is the recipe to find the right buyer(s.)

To my sellers: thank you for trusting me with your home and your story. I'll genuinely miss visiting this magical little corner of Davidsonville, but I'm so excited for what comes next—for you and for the new owners.
