Hello friends <3
Here to let you know that we are on hiatus from playing live shows for the winter while our bassist Mindy is having her baby !!! We are so happy for her!! :) We’re also excited to take some time to slow down and to dream new things…

In late May, we recorded a full length album with @efrimmanuelmenuck at Hotel2Tango in Montreal <333 It is currently being mixed and we will be working towards its completion this winter. We are so looking forward to sharing it with you all come spring/summer 2027 🤞

We have been blessed to be able to write, record, and play live for ourselves and whoever may hear it ❤️❤️❤️

We are truly thankful for an amazing last year of incredibly beautiful shows with so many friends. If you came out and saw us, bought a tape or shirt, or helped us in any way we are so thankful ! Because of your support, we were able to travel, write, and record this album. Thank you <3

We still have tapes and shirts and will ship them wherever, whenever ! Feel free to DM or link is in bio. Love and Peace see you in 2027💟

xoxo -Vervain

Had some solid hangs with Efrim Menuck (@efrimmanuelmenuck) at @peoplefestivalberlin last week. A number of us MPLS folks got to expound on seeing Godspeed You! Black Emperor on March 20th, 2003, the night the USA began bombing Iraq. A show that has been lodged in our bones ever since. Loved getting drenched in the sounds made with the great @laforceband in the Light Room on Sunday.

With the milestone of 200 records reached in my collection, I figured it would be a good time to go through the highlights of my efforts over the last 4 years! This is a gallery of the discographies of my favorite artists/bands that has taken an ungodly amount of effort to complete or near completion. Whether it be stalking discogs seller pages, going to record stores in different states while on vacation, or just being plain lucky at the right time and right place, my record collection is one of the things in my life that I actually feel some sort of pride about. Here’s to 300 and the eventual hundreds to come later on, as I don’t plan to stop collecting any time soon :)
