The 88th Army Band is more than the music we perform. It’s the friendships, shared experiences, and camaraderie we’ve built along the way.

We’re grateful for one another and proud to serve alongside such an incredible group of Soldiers and musicians. 🇺🇸🎶

Just a few months ago, I sat across from my sergeant and admitted that I believed my military career was coming to an end. I was afraid—of what the future held for me, my career, and the uncertainty of what lay ahead—and I felt as though I had nowhere left to go.

That day, my sergeant fought for me. She fought to change my perspective, to help me see the opportunities still ahead, and to remind me of the standards, purpose, and potential I still had—not just as a soldier, but as a person. Shortly after that conversation, I signed my next contract, and I have not regretted a single moment since.

The people I have met in this organization, the opportunities I’ve been given, and the lessons I’ve learned are immeasurable. I cannot fully express the gratitude I feel for those who have continuously shown up for me, pushed me to strive for more, and supported me through my hardest moments. The family I have been blessed to join is truly one of a kind, and I am beyond grateful to stand alongside such an incredible group of talented musicians, soldiers, and friends—people I’m proud to run races with, jump out of planes with, and call my team.

Thank you for believing in me. Thank you for pushing me. Thank you for being my inspiration.

One of the best experiences I’ve ever been through. AIT was an excellent experience, being a 42R in the army has been a great opportunity and to grow and learn how to be a better person, a better musician and a better soldier. I feel a little sad it’s already over, but I am very happy I got to make music and be friends with all of these excellent people who are also excellent musicians. Wish all you guys the best of luck and I can’t wait to see how you’re doing in your units in the future. Shootin’ Rounds & Makin’ Sounds! Hooah!

You can feel the love in that last one 😂
