During the Quebec Semba Weekender last weekend @moussa.katharina sat down with @jeffreykizomba to talk about the state of the Semba/kizomba scene in North America post covid, organizing, teaching etc and more. Here’s a brief excerpt from their conversation.

It gives us great pleasure to introduce to you one of the artists of the moment.

This very talented Cape Verdean 🇨🇻 singer has been performing and conquering fans all over Europe, USA and Africa.
She has been dishing out hits such as “nha mos” “spadja pe” and of course one of the songs of the year under her belt. “Akanadja” was definitely played all summer long and at every single event.

Please help us welcome Neyna to Vegas Kizomba Festival.

Last but not least… when we announced our following DJ for MBKF 2022, most folks were caught by surprise and wondered who she was.

Fast forward to the pool party on Saturday right around 7pm, she quietly came in and delivered one of the most hype sets at MBKF history.

Folks were chanting her name and people’s heads were nodding with approval!
She came and stamped MBKF, making sure we all left knowing who she is!

Now she is about to set Las Vegas on fire so please help us welcome DJ Naty to Vegas Kizomba Festival!
