Are your followers actually your customers? 🤔 It’s easy to confuse the engagement of your personal brand as a founder with product interest. People might love watching your founder journey, behind-the-scenes content, or aesthetic but that doesn’t mean they’re in your target buyer persona. Understanding the difference between audience reach and buyer intent is crucial for scaling a business. Catch the full conversation with Adekanla Dedeke the CEO and Founder of @egbaake on YouTube! Back at my alma mater, @columbia_biz for the @cbs_abc Africa Conference — this time on stage as a panelist for “Bridges of the Diaspora.” It was a personal one, because at @taptapsendng , we make it easy for the diaspora to send money home — fast, zero transfer fees — and that’s exactly the kind of bridge I get to work on every day. 🌍✨ (PS: if you’re new to Taptap, use code TaptapQueen for a $20 bonus on your first transfer 😉). The best part? Being surrounded by my people. Dekky styled me in a piece from @egbaake latest collection — my look was 🔥🔥. Toke made herself my PA for the day and wouldn’t let me lift a finger. Nigel even flew in (!!). And Ugo pulled up with gifts that completed my after-party look 🔥. Huge shoutout to the Africa Business Club for taking the conference to new heights 👏🏾 @demola_andres @bolorunfe , and our brilliant moderator kwamina — you all killed it. And fun fact: Tonte, Dekky, and Kobby are all past presidents of the club. Watching their “baby” glow up like this? Special. And don’t miss slide 18 — a video of my reunion with @odumodublvck . First time seeing each other since our Unilag days over 10 years ago, and both our reactions are priceless 🤯😂. What a weekend. What a joy. #columbiaafricaconference #visionsofafrica #CBS #AfricaBusinessClub #ColumbiaBusinessSchool #taptapsendng
