Sunday the 11th of October was the fourth and final day of @grimmfest 2026! @indiehorrorsoc

What a fantastic event it’s been this year! I ended up absolutely exhausted by the end of it, but loved every second!

One question I tried to ask everyone on the final day was which film first inspired them to make movies in the first place, and I got some wonderful answers 🖤

Feature Film Interviews:

@luckycerruti and @eggmcfarland for BOXCUTTER

@victorrrr_catala @cabuxo and @miguel_lago_casal for THEY ALWAYS COME AT NIGHT

@quarxx_arter for THE ONES WHO GRIEVE

I also caught up with my friend and collaborator @mckenziejonesfilm to chat about the experience of screening his first horror short, VOID SUPERVISOR, at his local cinema!

Wow what an amazing year @grimmfest 2026 and a first for me. I actually asked a question in the auditorium to the Director of THE ONES WHO GRIEVE director @quarxx_arter - amazing film and a must see from this years fest.

Not only that but I got to meeting the amazing writer/director of BOXCUTTER @luckycerruti and his lead man @eggmcfarland - Thanks for the rollercoaster in this year's hidden gem.

And it got even better as not only did I win the raffle for a second year running but got to chat with the lovely, amazing, talented @joannemitchellb at the end of the fest who was not nice enough to take a picture with me but also give me a must watch of her own. I'll be watching Daniel Roher's TUNER later this month.

Well we all knew Boxcutter was going to be wild and it seems the Grimmfest crowd agree! The World Premiere of Lucky Cerruti's feature was packed and I can't wait for the world to experience it for themselves.
