A thank you. The first piece in Black Gītā (Moon Call) was written sometime in 2009 in Ho Chi Minh at some diner. In 2018 it was added to a collection of pieces prompted by LOVE guided by the Great Spirit. In 2023 I called it finished as a book. Today, a group of the finest musicians I know taught this book how to sing, turning the pages into songs. They held the healing vibration of the text in their voices with every track being a melody of remembrance of the divine within. Everybody says nobody reads anymore, so I made a book that people can sing. It only made sense—the title Black Gītā itself translates to “The Song of God is Unity”.

Thank you to all those who contributed to this album.

And remember, Love Loves Love.

With all my heart, thank you @solstice_of_anahata for the opportunity to share this poetry as song. 🙌 Getting together with the artists on this project at @raxtraxchicago was an absolute blessing. @gardoqui_ made big magic happen with his sound savvy. ✨️ Every track on this EP is brought to you with the utmost care! Listen in on major streaming platforms, and for a real treat: give yourself a copy of this book. 💌 I simply cannot recommend Black Gītā enough. Find your copy with @ye_is_us. 🙏🤗💞

AND THATS A WRAP!!

On May 16th the EnColor Collective had their cast party for Talitha Cumi that premiered to a SOLD OUT audience in October of 2025!

How amazing it was to watch our vision that we co-created together come to full fruition! Absolutely honored to have walked this journey with these women.

Truly grateful to all of our supporters, volunteers, sponsors and production team!

Thank You to MY MOMMY for making EVERY DREAM A REALITY and pushing me towards my purpose. You ARE the wind beneath my wings!

I heard the community was asking for a redo!! We shall see!!! Talitha Cumi 3.0?!??? 👀🤞🏾✨

Never the less I’m always grateful to my community for the support as well as the honor to serve and reflect the times. Black Women’s stories are always worth being told, corrected and preserved. I continue to spend my life doing JUST THAT!

P.S. we are in pre production for “Black to Church” premiering in February 2027

As always
Love, Light & Peace 😘✌🏾

As spirit as book as music—Black Gītā sings to the dwelling place within you. There is a treasure in your chest….may it open. May it be given. #blackgita #reels #bookgram #iloveyou #newmusic

From Spirit to Book to Music, Black Gītā’s first EP “Love Loves Love” will release this Spring with appearances from @songokii @kaionthekeys @cando.re.mi @solstice_of_anahata @phyliciarashad

Out of the 30+ songs we currently have recorded, these seven were chosen as an offering that postures the heart in the Ultimate Love, to tap into the dwelling place of the divine within you, to guide you in remembering that you are one with God and can never be separate, to know that Anywhere you are, Love is. It says, I am You Are God Is are the same phrase repeated 3 times. Ye is Us. We are one. There is no separation. And once you realize this, every interaction becomes love or a call to answer with Love. Every thought, Word, Action. It all becomes love—for if I am you and you are me, as Stevie Wonder taught us, then love is the only thing that makes sense.

These 7 songs are just the beginning of Black Gītā’s musical offerings. If you’re interested in creating a song based on the writings of Black Gītā, let me know.

1. Into the Gītā (ft. Massive)
2. Tap in(to Your Divine) (ft. Cando & Kai on the Keys)
3. Love Loves Love (ft. Solstice)
4. Are You a G.O.D.? (ft. Massive)
5. Virgil’s Meditation (Eden Restored) (ft. Solstice)
6. Remember (ft. Kai on the Keys & Phylicia Rashad)
7. Purusha’s Unfolding (ft. Kai on the Keys)
