Tonight at LAMAG we’re opening our September series of Friday Art Nights at Barnsdall! Join us on September 5 for a collage and riso printing session taking place inside the gallery lobby. Out in the pine grove, a vibrant assembly of zine and art vendors will be set up, including @natalieandrewson, @mikeyhellercomics, @quinne.larson, @rebeccaholopter, @eggsquared, @sullyscribbles, @philosophicalresearchsociety, @thesarahwong, and @bigbellceramics. Visitors will also be able to view The Thousand Days, a newly commissioned triptych by Sophia Le Fraga in our poster case. Postcards featuring her work will be available for purchase, with all proceeds benefiting the Barnsdall Art Park Foundation in support of all the facilities across Barnsdall Art Park. The series continues on September 12 with a Make Your Own Sketchbook bookbinding workshop led by Emma Palm (@notranslation.wav), and concludes on September 26 with a Clothed Figure Drawing session led by Kris Chau (@chaufacetime). We can’t wait to see you tonight at LAMAG for an evening of artmaking, community, and creativity. ✨ Tickets are available through the link in our bio!
