Now on view are two luminous new works by Sylvia Ong, where painting becomes a meditation on light, memory, and transformation.

Shifting Light, 2025
Oil on canvas
150 × 200 cm

Spring once frozen, flows once more, 2025
Oil on canvas
200 × 200 cm

Blending her background in cinematography, music, and performance, Ong composes visual symphonies where color, rhythm, and texture move in quiet harmony. Informed by landscapes from Southeast Asia to the Arabian desert, her works evoke moments of stillness, emotional resonance, and the subtle shift between presence and memory.

Experience the unfolding of inner landscapes - serene, lyrical, and profoundly alive until May 31.

Eva Nielsen offers us her vision of painting through pictorial mediumi and as a window of sensation where emotions and memories seem to float. Paintings as landscapes of memory, a visual memory as rich with real images as with mental apparitions. In her collage-like works that blur the boundaries between painting, photography and screen-printing, Nielsen explores the possibilities of these mediums to create reconstructed perspectives of reality.

This week was the opening of my latest exhibition, “Around the sun all year long” @foundrydowntown Dubai.

The opening night was a great success, and it was an absolute thrill to connect with so many wonderful people who share my passion for art.

I would like to express my heartfelt appreciation to my curator @egle who worked so hard to make my dream come true. Also, to those who made it to the exhibition and shared their enthusiasm and support. Forever grateful !

For those who were unable to make it, I have prepared a brief walk-thru video (swipe 2) that I hope will provide you with a small glimpse into the overall experience with a meaningful tune by @aorismusic

Many thanks to the team Egle for making this the huge success. You know who you are! ☀️🤍

Prussian Quartets (II)
200cm x 200cm, Oil on canvas

Using mostly green hues and cobalt blue are dominant in this piece and it evoke feelings of tranquility. I began to dream of a place like the color floating in the wind of an unreal landscape. I hope that you find ways to bring this sense of peace and restfulness into your waking life.

WHY Do you feel your HEART & WOUNDS bleeding - NEW MOON in CAPRICORN ♑️

♑️The current New Moon is happening at 23°Capricorn, just one degree away from the 22° degree of the sign, where the Saturn-Pluto conjunction took place just one year ago. The Saturn-Pluto alignment inaugurated a 35 years cycle of absolute social transformation. Their conjunction marked the beginning of a global structural breakdown. It emphasized the need to break free from systems that are crystallized, oppressive, and limiting, and highlighted the necessity to build new ones, that support personal and collective empowerment.

♑️The New Moon in Capricorn that we are experiencing right now may bring up again issues that first emerged one year ago. It may highlight the need to address certain themes differently and invite us to integrate the lessons that we have learned throughout 2020 by establishing concrete and long-lasting adjustments.

🌑The fact that Pluto is currently in a conjunction with the Sun and the Moon will intensify the upcoming lunar cycle and infuse our experiences with a strong Plutonian quality. Pluto has been deeply transforming the Capricorn archetype since 2008 and will continue to do so until 2023, when it will enter Aquarius.

🌑Pluto, named after the mythological Lord of the Underworld, is the modern ruler of Scorpio and it is related to issues of power and powerlessness, and to our deepest unconscious material. This includes our shadows, our unprocessed wounds, our pain, our hidden talents and gifts, our secrets, our Soul’s evolutionary intentions and desires.

🌑Pluto represents the force of evolution: this planet demands transformation and reminds us that change is going to happen, whether we are happy with it or not. The best choice we have is to release resistance and cooperate with it.

On this New Moon, we may become aware of unconscious material we have been repressing and have an opportunity to integrate it.
