Hey, good people!

Ten years ago, a simple breakfast chat between my mother and me sparked the birth of KDU. Can you believe it? 🙌 From that humble beginning, I’ve had the incredible honor of teaming up with brands that shaped my childhood—those places where I saved my pennies for that perfect pair of shoes. Together, we’ve reached over 25,000 souls around the globe! That’s divine momentum, and it’s all thanks to God’s grace.

But let’s keep it real: this journey hasn’t been all sunshine and rainbows. I’ve faced pain, anxiety, and the kind of soul-searching that leaves you raw. Therapy, hospital visits, medication—you name it, I’ve gone through it. But through every struggle, I learned something powerful that I want to share with you.

I’m reaching out today to those of you who feel like your inner volume is cranked up too loud. You know who you are. I want to talk to you because I’ve been in that place where you crave peace like it’s a lifeline. Here’s the truth: instead of resisting those painful emotions, embrace them. They’re fleeting, just passing clouds in your sky. Every thought you have feels real, but remember—*you are not your thoughts.*

Be kind to yourself. Release the judgments that weigh you down. Keep moving forward, even with discomfort tagging along. Trust me, you’ll find that you’ve survived those hard moments! With practice, it gets easier.

I’m sharing this message because I know the struggle is real. This Instagram isn’t just about shoes; it’s about LOVE. And God is love. The shoes? They’re just the camouflage for something much deeper. I hope this resonates with someone who needs to hear it today.

Stay strong and keep pushing forward. Love always. ❤️

8th Bible on the Beltline complete 🤝🏾🏆
This time we switched it up. Walked 5 miles on the Atlanta Beltline while having raw, spirit-led conversations. Even as organizers/leaders we believe in curating space that makes people feel comfortable for open dialogue.

This ain’t just a Bible study. It’s real community. A safe space to grow, heal, and get closer to who God called us to be.

We don’t just show up to pour into others. We show up to get poured into too. None of us got all the answers, but together we got the wisdom and experience somebody else needs.

Community helps you overcome what’s been holding you back. Somebody already overcame what you’re still trying to get through.

If you’ve been looking for something like this, this your sign. Come walk with us next time. Let’s grow together.

Little becomes much when you place it in the masters hand! Good people. Check this out. My wife @reese_cup84 facilitated KDU to be able to provide shoes to @ehdoze for his trip to Senegal to be able to serve people who really needed good sneakers. When @ehdoze sent me the footage I immediately started crying tears of joy! Thank you my brother for your heart for the people and making this possible! Also thank you to everyone who helped lended a helping hand serving these sneakers in Africa. We hope this is just the start of something special. To GOD be the Glory!!

Incredibly grateful to everyone who supports KDU. Without you we wouldn’t be able to do this! Thank you 🙏🏽

…and always remember to “Keep Looking Up”!
