a fresh start…
this year has been one for the books. its been full of some of the best moments of my life, and some of the worst. i had no idea what was in store for me, with so much change, so much confusion, and so much uncertainty. but as i went through these pictures, the bad moments that this year ended with started to fade away. i began to see all of the joys that the year brought me. the beautiful moments that only i experienced. me and me alone. senior year and starting college helped me grow in ways i never expected or thought possible. they showed me that life is tough, but i’m tougher. they showed me that although i’ve lived, i have so much more living to do. so this year, moving forward, i refuse to dwell on the past. while i remain grateful for every single moment, every laugh, every cry, every lesson, i have my eyes on the horizon. i am the one thing in my life that i can control. the rest is the path that awaits me. in 2025, i cherish the happy memories, and leave uncertainty behind. this new year is about me. my strength, my goals, my passions. it’s about finding myself again. from now on, I write the story.

Eighteen years ago today you came into my life and made it infinitely brighter. Watching you grow into the incredible, graceful, creative and witty young woman you are today has been the greatest gift. Happy 18th birthday, my darling daughter! Love you!!
