just a random dump from my first time at ILS this summer:)

huge thanks to @estonianfunkembassy for inviting me to play. spent the whole weekend wandering around, catching good vibes and exploring every single corner kkkk

some massive highlights:
got absolutely blown away by @oopusofficial live, watched a super sick live percussion set and supported my friend @adelforcest playing all the genres i love the most ❤️‍🔥
supposed to play just one official set but ended up walking up to the dome stage around 5am to say hi to finnish crew @lostfavourite (@kaspergranroth @alvartallskog @jimmikingking ) closing the stage. next thing i know Kasper is pulling me behind the decks lol
ended up mixing b2b until sunrise for the last survivors of the morning 🏆

also, slide 8 is a reminder that festival toilets really bring people together lmao

A treat, a gift, a pleasure! The Tallinn Architecture Biennale cordially invites you to attend its Gala on Friday, 11 September, from 8 pm at the Contemporary Art Museum of Estonia (EKKM). For one night, EKKM will turn into the Supermuch Salon, ascending level by level, each with its distinct programme.

With a range of musical acts and performances throughout the evening, three floors provide space to converse, meet, celebrate, and glitz. We invite you to arrive in your Sunday best – and to make your way all the way to the top.

Tickets available at Fienta!

Schedule

20:00 Doors open
20:20–20:40 Welcome drink and snacks
21:00–22:00 Haldi & ans Flamingo (outdoor stage)
22:00–02:00 EHTE and the Ambassador of Funk + Soul Princess RETI (indoor stage)

Performers

Haldi & ans Flamingo revive the sound of 1970s and 1980s Estonian estrada, blending local musical heritage with soul, jazz, funk and disco. Led by singer and composer Haldi, the full ensemble features backing vocals, percussion and horns.

RETI moves between the stage and the DJ booth with ease. Her sets combine funk, soul and disco hits with familiar classics that keep the dance floor moving.

EHTE, also known as the Ambassador of Funk, brings two decades of experience behind the decks. His sets unite disco, funk and global dance music from across the decades.

TAB asks “How Much?”, and the Gala answers “Supermuch.” The familiar multiplies until it becomes spectacle—abundant, theatrical and slightly surreal.

Musical Archaeology: From Archives to World Stages. Restoring careers: from vinyl reissues to global touring success.

Chaired by

with
Paula Juana Durán (Colombia/UK) @paulajuana @soundwayrecords , Soundway Records & Publishing;

💬 Musical Archaeology is more than preservation and curation: it is an engine for career revival. How do we translate the hype of a rediscovery into tangible revenue and live careers? We move beyond the artefact to the artist, discussing how to turn a reissue into sync placements and festival bookings.
