Parents aren’t supposed to pressure their kids.
They’re supposed to push them when it matters.

There’s a difference.

Pressure says, “You need to do this.”
Support says, “How can I help you keep going?”

Keep the lane open.
Keep the conversation open.

When you see your kid putting in the work, don’t add more pressure. Ask:

“What can I do to help you keep going?”

And if they say, “Nothing,” respect that.

Sometimes the best thing you can do is step back, stay present, and watch them put in the work.

Support doesn’t always mean doing something.
Sometimes it means being there while they do it.

I am extremely excited to announce that I have committed to Wingate University to play baseball and continue my academic career. I want to thank all of my coaches who helped me along this journey. I am grateful for friends and family who have encouraged and pushed me to get better every day. I look forward to this next chapter and can’t wait to be a Bulldog. Thank you to the Wingate coaching staff for believing in me!

NON-NEGOTIABLES.

They are a critical part of building your Internal Game Plan.

Pick one. Pick two. Pick three.

Then stick to them every single day.

Stack them. Stack them. Stack them.

Until they become habits.
Until they become routine.
Until they become part of who you are and what you do every day. #internalgameplan #non-negotiables #service #curiousattitude #gratitudemindset @kylelong75 @gabbyreece @lairdsuperfood @athletesmentalplaybook @morgansmessage @theathleteplaybook @findingmastery @wellnessandathletes @ryanholiday @simonsinek @karalawson @jillellis_ @pepperdinewaves @adam.yostie @queensathletics @cchsmenshoops @athlete_edge_at_edcare @ehull49

Our currency is that these are the internal resources we invest to create a better life. The more we develop them, the more capacity we have to handle pressure, make better decisions, and move forward.#mentalcurrency #emtionalhealth #InternalGamePlan #studentatheletes #coachesformentalhealth @gabbyreece @morgansmessage @athletesmentalplaybook @gameplanlifefoundation @thehiddenopponent @theathletesplaybook @jaybilas @michaelgervais @findingmastery @ryanholiday @simonsinek @karalawson @jillellis_ @jefferson_fisher @themelrobbinspodcast @lairdsuperfood @wellnessandathletes @birdandbolt @ehull49 @thecoachking22 @qucoachgrant
