What gets me up early everyday with appreciation and enthusiasm for today’s opportunities aka challenges?

Thats the most common question I get as a father, coach and athlete.

The answer is my purpose and my people and their purpose.

I believe with unwavering certainty that we are all here on purpose and for a higher purpose.

That means my role and goal is to get them to show up consistently with respect and gratitude for their opportunities to grow and serve.

That means as an athlete, a student, a citizen, a leader, a worker, a boss, a mentor, a father, a mother, a husband, a wife and so on.

It’s not just winning championships but more over becoming the kind of person that is a contributing factor on a team, company, community or family.

Getting to see our people take ownership for their path is beyond inspiring!

It keeps me juiced up all day everyday.

It was another epic summer!

You see when you live your life deeply on purpose you may go through painful times, but you will know that like any growth spurt pain is the travel companion of growth and you can expect exponential returns commensurate with the discomfort that you experience.

This summer possessed more growth that I could’ve ever imagined.

So much of the greatness of what life has in store, for you is completely unplanned and definitely unexpected.

At first it can be startling, but then if you are patient and keep the faith, you’ll be witness to something magical.
