I cannot believe we are heading into the last week of October.
It’s time to start stocking up on straw to fill the barns to keep the animals clean, dry and warm all winter long. 😫😫😫
Also - truck update. It should be arriving tomorrow…

I love them more than anything. Spending today cleaning in the sunshine.

Just a peaceful morning for the girl’s club until Oswald decided to break it up.
I really wish I had a camera where this happened. But Oz must have gotten his new jacket stuck on the top rail of the fence between him and the pigs. Then panicked and jumped in? I have no idea.
No one was injured. Not even his new coat. Fence is repaired and now I’m cracking TF UP over this video.
Had to share. This is life. #Woopwoop

Finished a project that look a month when it should have only taken hours. 😂
I reached out to @snoutsofthesouthwest after seeing this cool “hay box” for their pigs. I wanted to know where they got it! It’s so hard to keep hay contained, dry and clean for the pigs for many reasons.
They were kind enough to explain how they make theirs from deck boxes! I found this one on market place for like $30! I have another waiting for me do and I’m still looking for two more so each group of pigs has their own!
I’m happy to see that it’s Winston and Philip approved. Edward wasn’t impressed.
I recorded the whole process and I’ll be uploading it to my YouTube channel eventually.
The truck hunt is still going on. I’ve found two others I want to go look at with my brother. But they’re both 3k more than that red one. I’m really trying to avoid another monthly payment. So please donate and share the gofundme. We can’t go much longer without a vehicle!

Elizabeth has had every child prior to Barbossa ripped from her side. When I went to pick up that baby boy, Elizabeth’s screams of distress watching yet another one of her babies be stolen, rattled me to my core. I refused to leave without her.
I’ve never been so sure of something in my life. I was meant to start this sanctuary.
I need all the support I can get. The most important thing on the list right now is getting a truck for the sanctuary. It’s vital to purchasing and transporting feed and hay. And if an emergency happens, to pull our trailer to get the resident safely to the hospital for treatment.
Please share and donate. Time is of the essence. Link to gofundme in bio. Or you can donate below, to our Venmo @ TTHAS , PayPal or Zelle (please note that it’s for the truck fund)

This is what a blown engine sounds like. This happened on my way home from my new job. One of 3 I currently need to keep this sanctuary running, the animals fed and my personal bills paid.
Something has got to give. I don’t even know what to do anymore. 🏳️

As most of you how I am without a vehicle. RIP Gremlin my black Kia soul. 😭🖤
I’ve been having a really rough go for bit and losing the only vehicle I have that gets me to 2 of 3 jobs and picks up feed, hay, helps me transport animals and other things was the cherry on top.
There was a gofundme created to help with this vehicle situation for the sanctuary and this is the truck I’m wanting to go look at…somehow.
I think a truck would be best for the sanctuary as I can get large amount of hay and feed instead of having to pay for delivery, which is expensive. I would also be able to pull my horse trailer if needed for emergencies instead of franticly trying to rent one.
I don’t expect to raise $6,800 (that would be really incredible though) but everything donated to this gofund.me/5cb767c2a will be put towards a down payment for it. Please share and/or donate. I really need the help right now. Thank you.

In February the Cougar Council at Cambridge Elementary chose us to be the beneficiary of their annual “Pennies for Pets” fundraiser!
They raised over $7000 for TTHAS!!!
Today they came to meet the animals they worked so hard to raise funds for!
It was a beautiful day! I couldn’t have asked for better weather!
The kids brought fresh produce and items from our Amazon Wishlist. 😭😭😭
I cannot put into words how grateful I am!
Thank you @boochaces for suggesting TTHAS. Thank you @systemx_steve and @traceyp59 for helping me prep and be for coming today! Also to @systemx_steve for all the 🎥📷!!!
Thank you @rykee1 for organizing everything and all dedication you put into the Cougar Council. And thank you the students that participated!

Violet, Lilac and Hellebore love playing. Much like puppies but very different. They are the happiest babies! I can’t believe how big they are getting!
Their mothers were released by a farmer to be hunted for sport. Those moms gave birth in the woods alone and scared with no food, shelter or clean water.
Pigs are some of the most disrespected and abused animals on the planet. Their lives only valued for what humans can eat of them.
Their intelligence far exceeds the majority of humans. 😆 They are emotional, playful, spiteful, they solve problems, they plan, they dream.
Providing lifelong care and sanctuary for farm pigs is an honor. It’s rare for them to get to their lives the way they want and grow old being loved and respected.

First picture — last night (10:47 PM), prepping for snow. The rest of the pictures — today, snow arrived. ❄️💜✅🐴🥶 I do love the winter, even when the weather weathers.

I met and groomed Elliot from @saramaanimalrescue today! Just like everyone else from this case, he is quirky, sweet, shy and very cooperative for his spa day! I highly doubt he’s ever been professionally groomed before yet he was so trusting of me. I would bet money he’s one of Bernadette’s pups. He is built like her and has the same hair.
Please donate if you can to @saramaanimalrescue. Elliot has his neuter and dental surgery coming up and then he’ll be ready for adoption!
