Yes, I am a total history geek, so this possibly has to be the coolest place I have been in Ireland.

From the fact that you have to pick up a key from a house down the road, to the fact that you can be totally on your own with 5,000-year-old art, Fourknocks is just such a special place.

If you do ever visit, treat it with respect, so generations to come can admire it too — and hopefully won’t have to go through an old singing-and-dancing interpretive centre with a hefty price tag just to visit. 😂
