Today marks three years since joining The Prancing Pony and I honestly can’t believe how far this journey has taken me.

Three years ago, @shauna.lestrange.tattoo took a chance on me and gave me the opportunity to become an apprentice and start my career in her studio. I will forever be grateful that she opened that door for me. Somewhere along the way, my apprenticeship turned into a friendship that will last a lifetime. Thank you for believing in me, teaching me and giving me the chance to build a career doing something I love. I’ll never forget where I started or who gave me that first opportunity.

My sister @eireink deserves a huge thank you for helping me get started, supporting me and constantly inspiring me. I’m so lucky to have you.

My family, thank you for always supporting me through every high, low, doubt and stressful day. Your support has meant everything.

Lovely @jasemilytattoo_ , thank you for becoming such a great friend and allowing me to also learn from you. I’m so grateful our paths have crossed. 🖤

Erin Larkin on the cover of our August issue 🔥🔥

A tattoo artist and painter from Glastonbury, Somerset, Erin has spent ten years crafting a world entirely her own — one of colour realism woven with botanical and mystical illustration. Her inspiration comes from witchcraft, tarot, ancient texts and old botanical prints, and from the childhood stories that set her free: Harry Potter, The Lord of the Rings, and the magical worlds of Avalon on her doorstep.

Every design begins on her morning woodland walk through ancient Glastonbury, where she gathers sketches and field notes in her Woodland Compendium before translating them onto skin. She is the founder of Temperance Tattoo — named after the Major Arcana card of patience, balance and harmony — a space built on one core value: respect given and received.

Awarded, sponsored and endlessly curious, Erin isn't chasing trophies but a legacy: "a world filled with magic and curiosity on the skin of those who carry my work."
