🎓 Proverbs 3:5: “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.”

On May 16th, I graduated from the illustrious Morgan State University, with a B.S in Management Information Systems with a focus on Data Analytics. First born, First grandchild. First generation everything. No pressure. right?

I could go on and on telling the oh so renowned story of being a young girl migrating from her country with nothing but long instilled determination & big dreams! But this story has always been special. Feels like yesterday I was just writing my college application essay, titled “My Road to Success”. Trying so hard not to sound like everyone else, but not truly knowing who I was. Not until this moment have I realized, when God is the author of your story, every chapter has a purpose. My journey was never easy. Days where I had nothing left but faith. Yet in every high and every low, one truth remained constant: God never failed me. Thank you God & to all who guided me through this era.

Today, I don’t just stand as a graduate/Alumni, I stand as proof of grace. I stand as evidence that God finishes what He starts. No matter how hard or how far success seems, He has seen the light and makes a way always. Thank you Morgan state for this beautiful chapter. Thank you for pushing me beyond my limits. Thank you for showing me I can achieve it all, If i just work hard for it. This is only the beginning!🥂
