It has never been more important for us to stand up and be counted as loud and proud Jews. I am so proud to be part of the “I’m that Jew” campaign which was created by @eitanchitayat_words but we can all be that Jew, by showing the world who we are and what we stand for. Have a chat to a colleague, a friend, a random stranger and explain how it feels to be Jewish right now or just wear the t-shirt and you can be sure that questions will be asked. At this point it's safe to say that unfortunately I was right.
These protests aren't about freeing Palestinians and they never were.

These protests started October 8 2023, that's 24 hours after Israel was invaded and over 1,000 innocent Men, Women and Children were murdered and hundreds were abducted.
The Israeli ppl hadn't even had a chance to count all the bodies much less mourn b4 ppl were protesting and blaming them for what happened to them.

This is before the IDF shot a single missile, this was before there was a single Palestinian casualty. As a matter of fact this is even before the Palestinians stopped celebrating in the streets what had happened the day before.

There weren't buildings being shot down. There weren't civilians dying by the thousands. There weren't homes, hospitals, businesses and Mosques being turned into rubble.
The reality is while these protests were happening the hamassholes were hiding the hostages underneath the "innocent Palestinians" the West would soon be faking sympathy for.

These rallies were set in motion with a singular thought in mind, with a particular hatred in mind & with a specific Target in mind.
They were Celebrating the horrors that the Israeli people had endured. They were marching with swastikaz chanting "from the river to the sea ".

Imagine a Celebration by any country anywhere in the world after the United States endured such an attack. Think about how that country would be targeted by the US. They'd probably find a way to tie that nation in with the terrorists so we could bomb them too.. (think about that for a bit).

All the "good hearted" "socially aware" "well intentioned" folks suffering from "western saviorism disorder" who have joined in & loaned their energy & attention to these protests don't matter.
There can be no balance at these events. If someone were to go there with a dual sided sign that said "free Palestine" on 1 side & "free the hostages" on the other, the holder of that sign would be run off & probably assaulted by the crowd.
Make no mistake about it.

I never thought I would be that Jew. But a few months ago I asked Eitan for some help. I said, “I need a platform. I have so much I want to say!”

Eitan said, “So Build it!”

Me: “Build what??

Eitan : “Build the platform and then get on it!”

So. I did.
I’m only here to draw towards our beloved hostages. With pens that bleed.

But, I have Hakarat Hatov/gratitude to Eitan. Eitan truly helped me with giving me advice. When I was just some stay at home mother with pens. (I’m still just a stay at home mom- just with more pens 😉)

I will always be grateful and I think I’ll use my platform, right now, to tell you all to go buy some merch from the guy that watched me build my platform and cheered me on.

I was supposed to be on a plane to Nevis this week to celebrate the achievements of my top team members and play with my friends in yet another over-the-top experience courtesy of R+F. And although I haven’t missed one of these trips in 13 years, this year I knew I needed to be somewhere else.

Of course I’m still building my skin care and hair care business, mentoring others to do the same, and have the unfinished outline for my third book waiting for me. But October 7 forever changed me, and since then I’ve been using whatever platform I have to educate amidst all of the misinformation, disinformation and no information. And I want to do more.

So I’m headed to Israel on a @jnfusa volunteer mission to help wherever I can and to bear witness. It won’t be glamorous, and instead of fab outfits I packed clothes that can get dirty, work gloves, and loads of Kleenex (if you know me, you know I’m going to need it). I know everyone is going to have a spectacular, much-deserved VIP experience in Nevis. And I know they understand that while I’m an entrepreneur, a business coach, and an author, I’m first a Jew.

I’m that Jew who strives to live by the Talmudic mandate to be light in the world. Who yearns to get back to her ancestral homeland that needs people to clean and build and paint and farm and cook. And hopefully will have lots to share with all of you.

I’m that Jew who needs a big dose of hope. There’s no better place to get it than in the miracle that is Israel. 🇮🇱
