POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

What a fabulous birthday month July turned out to be 🥳. From day festivals and beach gigs to pub garden drinking in the glorious sunshine, to park walks and weekend retreats, it’s a birthday I won’t forget. Whoever said your 40’s aren’t for living your best life is wrong! 😍

Thank you to everyone who celebrated with me. You’re all so kind and I’m so incredibly lucky you have you in my life.

Sorry I don’t have photos of everyone… must remember to take more photos 😅.

Much love always xxx

Turns out the work isn’t being loved. It’s letting yourself feel it. A lot of cake, surrounded by people who refused to let me forget I’m loved. Thank you to everyone for the best birthday in a long time.

Leadership isn’t just about titles — it’s about clarity, resilience, and influence.

And who better to speak on this than someone who built and exited a YC-backed startup while finishing her PhD?
We’re thrilled to welcome Ekaterina Damer, founder of Prolific, to Amela’s Inspire Capsules — a series of intimate, high-impact sessions with women founders who’ve walked the walk. 💥

In this session, Ekaterina will share:

💡 How she turned a research problem into a venture-backed company
🚀 What it takes to lead with intention
🤝 Her transition from founder to mentor and investor
🌱 Actionable insights for early-stage founders building with purpose
