What a night at the 3rd annual Manhattan Beach Food & Wine Festival! 🍷✨

This year brought together 46 incredible chefs over two days, and the new setting at the beautiful Westdrift Hotel made the experience even better. Great food, a golf course backdrop, and the perfect sunset leading into the Night Market. 🌅

There were so many memorable bites from Peruvian scallop and Hawaiian kanpachi to smoked pork sliders, Wagyu, Ora King salmon, caviar over ice cream, and plenty of desserts. And yes, I definitely went back for another Havana Banana! 😋

Three years in and this continues to be one of my favorite food events. Already looking forward to next year! 🥂

Lions, Tigers & Cures — and one of the most magnificent nights I’ve had in Los Angeles all year ✨

The Concern Foundation’s 51st Annual Block Party took over the iconic Paramount Studios backlot Saturday and transformed it into a stunning safari wonderland. Over 4,000 guests and 70+ of LA’s top restaurants, chefs, wineries, and beverage partners, came together in the name of one of the most important causes there is — funding groundbreaking cancer research.

As someone who lost her dad to this disease, every year this event holds a special place in my heart.

Last Saturday was chef’s kiss — literally. 🍽️✨

The first ever Hollywood on the Coast Food & Wine Festival took place at the stunning Fairmont Miramar Santa Monica, and brought together the best of California’s culinary and beverage scene for one unforgettable evening. Think incredible food, world-class wine, craft cocktails, tequila, bourbon, and all the good vibes. 🍷🥂
.
But the best part? It was all in support of two incredible organizations - Variety, The Children’s Charity of Southern California AND the Will Rogers Motion Picture Pioneers Foundation - making every sip and every bite even more meaningful. ❤️
.
Top chefs. Premium brands. The entertainment community. One gorgeous oceanside property. And a whole lot of good being done in this world. This is Hollywood doing what it does best — showing up and showing OUT for a great cause. ✨

Hollywood On The Coast made its debut on June 13th at the Fairmont Miramar in Santa Monica, bringing together 17 talented chefs showcasing incredible dishes for a great cause. Guests enjoyed amazing food, wine, cocktails, tequila, and bourbon throughout the evening.

My personal favorites were Knox & Dobson’s Margarita and Moscow Mule and both were outstanding!

Participating restaurants included Redbird, City Club, Fitoor, Knox & Dobson, Emporium Thai, Lunetta, Mélisse, Pursuit, Xuntos, and Wife and the Somm and more.

Best of all, 100% of the proceeds benefited Variety -The Children’s Charity of Southern California and the Will Rogers Motion Picture Pioneers Foundation, supporting children with special needs and members of the motion picture community in times of need.

Our last day in L.A. on this most recent trip we filmed some stuff for @curtisandersen and @thenaterichert ‘s podcast @thenateandcurtisshow and attended a fundraiser for @kelsiemathews ! It was wonderful to see Kelsie again and also some other great folks at the fundraiser! We also met @valeriescateyescream who was the on set costumer for Gilmore Girls and she had Curtis’s photos from his day filming on the show! She also went to high school with our sister in law @teacherbitsandbobs ! What a small world!

Last week, we celebrated 26 years of mouthwatering Thai food from Los Angeles dining icon Emporium Thai. The food is DELICIOUS, and it’s no wonder why the restaurant holds the Thai SELECT certification from the Royal Thai Government AND has been named among the Top 100 BEST Thai Restaurants in the United States.

Celebrating 26 amazing years of flavor, community, and consistency at Emporium Thai 🎉 A truly beloved gem in Westwood that locals (and visitors) keep coming back to because when it comes to Thai food, they’ve set the standard.

We had the best time indulging in some of their signature favorites: rich and creamy crab 🦀 curry, refreshing mango 🥭 salad, bold and zesty spicy beef salad, crispy wonton rangoon, flavorful Phuket wings, and of course, the perfect sweet ending with mango sticky rice.
