A message to our friends, clients and supporters… After five years of fun and creative challenges, we have decided to close MERINDA Studio. This was not an easy decision, especially because the work we have done enabled us to interact with amazing people who have inspired us personally and professionally.

It has been a pleasure to work in the field of textile design and interiors. We have no doubt we will be back to the entrepreneur life at some point in the future, so we hope this is not “goodbye” but instead - “see you later”.

We are grateful to everyone who has come alongside us in this journey and we send you our very best wishes for success.

XO,
Erin + Min

Memorizing every bit of Malan 🤍 Our girl turned one on June 26 and I am so thankful & aware of what a blessing she is. I would relive this year over and over if I could and do it all again but I know the best is yet to come. We love you, precious girl!!

Homage to a beautiful blue sky day in Chicago (while it lasts)🌤️

It’s the perfect day to feature our latest art series, Cloud Illusions. This abstract series celebrates the mesmerizing quality of clouds. Shot by Erin, the clouds are pixelated to add texture and movement.

Available professionally framed or unframed on fine art paper.

One of us is from CA and the other from KS 🏈♥️♥️

Taylor landed, Bieber is possibly making a halftime show appearance and the amount of cheese being melted over here is astounding. Lets’s go TEAM RED! #astudiodivided

Why hello you! It’s been 4.5 years since we started MERINDA Studio and if our little company were a baby, it would be almost done with preschool by now. They grow up so fast..

Seems like a good time to say hello to our growing group of online friends!

Erin, a born photographer, artist and Californian, is our free spirit and design creator. 📷🕊️🌴

Min, a wanderlust from Kansas and ex-fashion exec, is our business geek and backseat designer. 🌻👗

We started MERINDA because we wanted beautiful, original and sustainable decor for our own homes. We didn’t love the fast, identical decor trends flooding the market.

Each of our designs start with Erin’s photography- from flowers to coastal scapes, animals to travel. We print everything here and deliver it in less than 4 weeks. Our textiles are offered to the trade and our wall art is available to all.

We love what we create and we are grateful that you do, too ❤️

Here’s a recent pic of us at a @designerlinkcommunity event, debating if Chicago would cancel school due to cold (they did) and if we could write-off a weekend in the Caribbean as a work retreat (unclear.. insights welcome).

Happy 4th Birthday, MERINDA Studio! It's been a fun four years that started with a handful of designs and clients and has expanded to amazing collabs with talented people, printers and sales around the US and LOTS of laughs. Thank you to everyone who has supported us over the years - from the frame makers to the printers and of course, our interior design friends. We are so appreciative. 😍🎂🥂

📫This letter from sleepaway camp arrived with a ‘custom’ MERINDA business card. Apparently Min’s youngest has been industriously making them in the camp print shop and distributing them to visitors 😂 Guess Erin will need a new art series shot in Maine!
