Paris, a few weeks later. Some impressions need time to settle into words. My Paris remains sunlit. Before the unrest. With coffee in Ginori porcelain and no desire to check the time

@ekman is one of my all-time favorite choreographers. His work goes far beyond dance. It’s theatre, performance, visual art and pure imagination.

I’ve recreated this video inspired by one of his extraordinary pieces, HAMMER.

I can’t recommend his work strongly enough. Absolutely brilliant! 🖤

The Hong Kong Arts Festival is widely considered Asia’s leading performing arts festival, bridging Eastern and Western traditions since 1973. Over more than five decades, the HKAF has cemented its status as a regional arts powerhouse, and each year presents more than 1,000 international and local artists in all genres of the performing arts

Alongside the @hkartsfestival’s usual world-class selection of traditional opera, ballet and classical music concerts you’ll also find a striking subcurrent of contemporary - and frequently uncompromising - modern dance, theatre and arts-tech productions designed to disrupt the classical narrative and challenge how we view the stage

The 2027 HKAF takes place from February 18 to March 21 and advance bookings offering discounts of up to 15 per cent are available until November 20. Now that the full programme has been released, here are O.cult’s recommendations for a truly stimulating festival journey

Practice and Be An Artist ❤️
