A day shooting streetphotography.

Set off to Kuala Lumpur for a day of street shooting at my favorite location - Chinatown. Plenty of interesting subject that capture my attention. End up with some colourful capture. Courtesy of Ekamil.

A spontaneous moment in Kuala Lumpur that turned into a memory I’ll carry with me. 🎨

I was just walking through the city when I suddenly got the chance to leave a little piece of myself on the wall.

I wrote „Kunst“ (Art), my name Tamara, and Saarbrücken, the city I call home. And the 🌀 — a symbol of continuous movement, growth and the endless cycle of life — felt like the perfect thing to add.

It reminded me once again how beautiful it is that art can connect people, even when they come from completely different places. 🤍

Thank you @ekmlx for this lovely experience. 💫

Golden hour at Pasar Seni MRT.

Behind the scenes with KL street photography OGs working a portrait session in the open plaza and the large shaded space under the mezzanine - where structure, shadow, and reflected light shape the scene more than anything else.

Minimal gear, just a few flashes and reflectors used sparingly. Most of it is about timing, positioning, and letting the natural spill of light and hard architectural lines do the rest.

No staging beyond that. Just reading the space as the light changes. View the output respective photograper’s IG
