POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

After two months away for medical reasons, I am delighted to say I have fully recovered and am back doing what I love. And what a return!

Earlier this month, my associate in Spain Pedro Sánchez Román organised the premiere of The Woods Encounters: The Movie, which received a fantastic response. I am thrilled to share that my associate in the UK Adam Saini informed me today that Lionsgate will be releasing our film Adrenaline - The Movie in the US next month.

Back in the UK, editor Lucy Peryer-Hughes is hard at work bringing my latest project, ONE NIGHT IN RILA, filmed in Bulgaria earlier this year, to life in the edit.

Three films, each at a different stage, and so much to be grateful for.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who has been part of these journeys, in front of and behind the camera. Independent filmmaking is never easy, but moments like these make every challenge worthwhile.

We had the pleasure of filming a podcast episode at @artbeatcaribbeanpodcast and I absolutely loved it, not only because the studio was amazing but mostly because @gabe.pineiro and I got to own the conversation and ask each other questions about our career and personal experiences in the industry. Frankly, I think we barely scratched the surface. Maybe we should make a part 2 😜🎙️🎬

The Thunder BeingZ –
EPK, Documentary & Interview

This special film offers a heartfelt look into the world of the Thunder BeingZ, a family of musicians, drummers, storytellers, and cultural ambassadors dedicated to sharing rhythm, unity, and community wherever we go.
Created through interviews and performances at the University of Miami with Avi Hoffman and filmmaker Elaine Roberts, this project follows Ant Hatcher and J.J. McGaugh as they share their journey through music, culture, and the timeless traditions of the drum.
Together, we work to celebrate music, preserve culture, protect our people, and honor the legacies entrusted to us by those who came before. Every gathering, every performance, every drum circle, and every stage is another opportunity to bring people together through peace, respect, and the universal language of rhythm.
This film is made with nothing but love. It is an invitation to witness our lives, our purpose, and the communities that have become our family—from moonlit drum circles to festival stages around the world.
We hope this story inspires you to celebrate one another, to protect our shared cultural heritage, and to remember that every heartbeat carries a rhythm capable of bringing humanity together.
Thank you to the Great Spirit, to Ra, the Light of the World, and to every soul who has walked beside us on this beautiful journey.

Peace • Love • Music • Unity

First and foremost, I would like to thank Sarah Aboubakar, our First Assistant Director. Sarah has been the driving force behind keeping this production running smoothly from day one. Her leadership, organization, professionalism, and ability to bring people together have been instrumental in helping us achieve what we set out to do. She has worked tirelessly to support both the cast and crew, and this project would not be where it is today without her dedication.

His work has been a vital part of ensuring that every scene was captured to the highest standard.

I would also like to recognize Milen N. Stoilov our Gaffer, whose skill, creativity, and professionalism have played a major role in shaping the look and feel of this project. His willingness to take on multiple responsibilities and perform them at such a high level has been truly impressive and greatly appreciated.

A special thank you goes to Dimitar Stoykov, our First Assistant Camera/Focus Puller. Proud to share a glimpse into an incredible shoot for ONE NIGHT IN RILA — a psychological thriller woven through the rich atmosphere, mystery, and traditions of Bulgaria.

From the haunting energy of the Kukeri to the unmistakable sound of the Rhodope gaida and stunning locations, every scene was shaped by the country’s deep cultural heritage and breathtaking landscapes. We were also honored to be granted permission to film inside one of Smolyan’s beautiful Orthodox churches, adding a truly powerful visual and spiritual dimension to the project.

This production has been brought to life by an exceptional cast and crew whose passion, creativity, and dedication continue to elevate every frame.

One Night in Rila is a psychological thriller that will keep audiences guessing until the very end — and we cannot wait to share more soon.
