Every year at @thenammshow @elastro23, @tchad_blake and I take a group selfie. This year Tchad was not in attendance so we had to improvise! Thanks to @theaudiopunks for helping us fake it this year. Missed you Tchad, see you next year.

Sounds a bit cheesy, but being in my car makes me the happiest, and on the long ride home back to Arizona, I got to hear the progress on some new songs we are all working on of mine and for some reason I got emotional! I’m always a very deep person, and that’s especially true when it comes to my music. Something was heavily reminding me of how lucky I am to have all of these people come together FOR my music, and that it’s been the same group of a few of us for over five years and some new friends too. I’ve driven this desert back and forth for a while now and I have so many memories evaluating and creating my music with friends on the sides of these roads. Listening to a song for the first time as it unfolds while watching the monsoons roll in, or pulling over by a train because I was sent a final mix and I need to hear it immediately. I’ve been so lucky to have friends that believe in my music. we’ve all been through a lot together in 5 years. Together, and in our own individual lives, and when you’re sharing something so vulnerable, it’s very special to have a few people that know how to work with you. I haven’t been perfect im sure, and I’m so protective of my songs and my vision, and I’m really proud that no matter what, we’ve always still wanted to create and make music. Thank you to all of the talented people that help with my albums. When you check out my bandcamp page, you can go and read all of the musician credits over time. When you go and listen to them all, just know that each person on these tracks is a real person and friend and they each represent a period and space of my life because they are helping me to speak my truth when it feels like the world barely listens most of the time. The freedom it gives me is something I don’t take for granted and often times people have worked with me simply because they believed in it. I’m excited to carry it all into the world soon…I hope it heals and connects.
