The postcards have arrived!!! ✨

There’s something about holding a stack of postcards in your hands that suddenly makes it all feel real.

This will be my second solo show this year, and honestly… when the gallery owners asked if I could do a June show, I hesitated. April and May were already overflowing (hello, festival organizing, life, and a pinky finger that has barely worked since March 😅).

But sometimes you say yes before you feel fully ready.

I met the gallery owners back in March at another opening of mine in the same building in Santa Ana, and now somehow… here we are.

Opening reception: June 6, 6-9pm during the Santa Ana Artwalk
Artist Talk: June 20, 7PM.

This exhibition brings together paintings from different moments in my practice—some returning works that haven’t been seen in this building before, alongside a few new pieces I’m still racing to finish (including one very large six-panel work 😅).

There will also be an installation where tape lines extend beyond the paintings and into the space, creating moments that shift depending on where you stand. During the artist talk, I’ll share how this whole strange, wonderful tape-on-the-wall idea even came about.

Right now it feels equal parts exciting and impossible… but I’m doing it anyway.
