Celebrating 50 years of El Centro and the Black/African American Cultural Center building community, shaping leaders and creating a thriving home away from home on campus.

The centers trace their roots to Project GO – short for Generating Opportunities – an effort that started from student and community activism during the Civil Rights Movement. Today, B/AACC and El Centro foster community and provide educational programming, student development and other resources for all interested students.

As @ElCentro1976 and @BAACC_CSU celebrate 50 years of intertwined history, we’re honoring every generation who are making this place better for everyone.
