What a special week touring around Ireland with Poliphonia. Takeovers, Supras and Georgian Wine Masterclasses - it was a whirlwind of pop-ups and all that that entails -travelling, prepping, cooking, eating, pouring, drinking, toasting. And doing it all over again in each new venue from Allta and Lulu's in Dublin, to L'Atitude, St Peter's and Callanans in Cork City and Levis' Cornerhouse in Ballydehob.
Special thanks to all the hosts @alltadublin
@lulusdublin, @stpeterscork, @corkonaforkfest @callanansbar and @levis_corner_house_ballydehob and to the teams that made it happen @lecaveauwinemerchants and @latitudefiftyone, to the helpers on the ground rocketman @eldoxio @graemereynolds
And to the wonderful Poliphonia crew who brought the magic of Georgia to our shores. Ana, Giorgi, John, Gvantsa and Aidan, go raibh míle maith agaibh (a thousand 'Madlobas' 😉) - you touched the hearts of everyone you met with your generosity and warmth and sparked a curiosity to learn more about Georgia and get to know this fascinating culture even better.

And what a bonus to have the wonderful @carla.capalbo.gastrogypsy fly in especially to hang out and help with the team!

Thanks to everyone who fed and wined us during the tour (with special mention to @acharadublin and @stfranciskinsale for their extreme generosity) and to those who kindly opened their doors specially for us to show some of Ireland's wonderful artisan skills (thanks Sally @woodcock and Fingal @gubbeen)

We feel this is just the beginning and look forward to many more collaborations either here or in Georgia 🇬🇪

Sláinte / Gaumarjos ❤️

Tomorrow will be 2 months since I read a card last online and baby I’ll be back tomorrow.
I’ve been off my phone and not in some protest way but bc just the simple act of talking to myself on this little box brought more healing than I ever could have hoped. I opened my heart this summer to grief and vulnerability. I was rewarded with so many people in real life and a village where I feel at home and safe and seen even though we have no idea how long we can live there. I’ve let the heatwave keep me outside and fallen in love with gardening as a career again.
I’ve let friends and goals leave and genuinely let go of trying to be perfect and each day relaxed my shoulders. I gardened, danced, spun some records, swam, worked the markets, drank so many ginger beers and allowed patience. I also cried and yelled and kicked and surrendered. I got rewarded so big with so many beautiful people.
I have barely read for anyone this summer and just read for me. I’m so proud of myself and I just thought I would share that ✨
STAY GOLD ANGEL
See you tomorrow but if there is something you’re proud of let me know ✨
