Chapter 4: Control yourself

There are two phases to every argument. Ignition and Cooling.

Ignition happens when the productive becomes destructive. When you feel threatened, defensive or personally attacked.

Cooling happens when the heat begins to die down. After you walk away, come to a mutual understanding or can’t come to an agreement.

Coconut chicken curry - I asked AI for a recipe and tweaked it myself. Came out sooooguuud!

Ingredients
* 2-3 chicken thighs, fat trimmed, bite size cubes
* Large handful of bok choy (or veggies of your choosing, most common is carrots+potatoes)
* 1-2 tsp minced garlic
* Salt and pepper to taste
* 2 cups low sodium chicken stock
* 1 can coconut milk
* 1 box Japanese curry cubes (4oz)
* 1-2 tsp Fried chili in oil (optional)

Instructions
* Trim chicken fat and cut into bite size cubes, season with salt and pepper
* Mince your garlic
* Separate your bok choy
* Heat oil in a large pot/wok over medium-high heat and brown chicken
* Add in bok choy and cook till wilted
* Add garlic and cook for 1-2 mins till fragrant
* Add chicken stock and coconut milk and bring to a boil, once boiling turn heat to low and simmer for 15-20 mins or until chicken is cooked.
* add fried chili crisp in oil to taste (I used generous tsp) and stir
* Turn heat off and add 4oz Japanese curry cubes. Stir until well combined.
* Serve over rice and enjoy!

Excited for this one. I’ll admit I have a difficult time keeping a conversation going. But I’ve been practicing my listening skills I learned from the last book Ichigo Ichie. Still needs work. Hope you enjoy my excerpts!
