@secretdreamsfest a place to be surrounded by friends who feel like family. The artists, sculptors, vendors, musicians, actors, builders and organizers who poured their souls into making this world real came together and made real MAGIC!
This year held its share of trials and tribulations but we pushed through. We made the most of every moment. And we came out the other side better people than we were walking in. 💙
That’s the real magic of Secret Dreams. Not just the art or the music, but the humans who rise to meet the hard moments together and keep the light glowing anyway.
Grateful beyond words for every single one of you. Until we dream again. 🧚🪼💋🫶🏻

Secret Dreams (ʀᴏᴜɴᴅ 3)

Now that all the bruises & bites are fading I can finally reflect on what was such a full circle year for me ✨

The week started off *rough* & I was at a low point mentally but day by day it got better thanks to the beautiful people around me who helped me gain a better understanding of myself & my worth.

I met an incredible new hive of friends & spent time with so many long lost homies. Bridged the gap from long time acquaintances to lifelong friends with so many creatives & humans I’m 𝔹𝕃𝔼𝕊𝕊𝔼𝔻 to know. In disbelief of how lucky I am to be in these spaces!

Ty so much Gavin, Dave, & Gordie for trusting to have me on the Art Deco team this year! It’s such a privilege to know/see this team & them see/value me in return. I really needed to be reminded of my value & what I bring to the table because I was so hard on myself at the beginning.

Shout out to Teener for being the best lead & creative queen who held it down & helped lift our spirits during a brutal heatwave & tedious build. The bugs really loved us out there ☻♥

I have so much more to say but if you made it this far thank you for being in my life. I’m walking away from this experience feeling lighter & more connected to myself & community 💟

Cherish your friends, celebrate them and let them know how much you love them. Painting friends at fest is my favorite way to express that. It doesn’t matter what the lineup is the friendships that are the headliners and that who I’m excited to see every time. I usually miss all the music and way and focusing on painting is the way I stay grounded in these chaotic environments and knowing who is around you and studying them is very important to achieving a beautiful composition not just in the painting but in the friendships as well. Can’t wait to hug yall at the next one.

bad news: i found another music festival
worse news: i found a cute place to stay too 😭✨ excuse my typo in the text overlay not Charleston,SC

Hidden City Music Festival in Columbia, SC was SUCH a fun spring weekend.
great bass music, solid production, awesome fireworks finale, cool art/vendors, lots of space to dance, and a lineup that had me running around all weekend. 🔊

got to catch Zeds Dead, Of The Trees, Mersiv, Wreckno + more while exploring Columbia with the homies and honestly… the vibes were on point. smaller festivals like this always end up feeling so special 🫶

also found an Airbnb less than 15 minutes from the venue that was super affordable compared to most festival trips 👀🏡
if you’re already planning next spring festival season, definitely keep Hidden City on your radar.

introducing Nimbi ☁️
a quiet little being tucked safely away in her iridescent cave, surrounded by her special trinkets, and atmospheric wonders.
she’s a collector of light ~ tiny fragments, reflections, moments ~ and keeps them safe,
only to gently share them with those who wander close enough to notice ☁️
she made her debut at @campkouch this weekend 💫

we had such a sweet time bringing this new piece to life out there ~ thank you to everyone who stepped inside and shared a moment with us 💫

Seeing something come to life that was built from passion is so so beautiful. To be a part of it is even more special. My first adventure in the woodlands will never be forgotten!! So thankful to be able to work in such a fun space and make new friends while listening to some nasty chunesssss.

Until next year 💭
