Sometimes you have to look back to see how far you’ve come.
The 2021 throwback trend caught up with me. Looking through these photos, I understand why that year felt so special.

It was my harvest year. Five years after moving to America, the life I’d dreamed of was taking shape. Behind these moments were years of hard work, uncertainty, and choosing to keep going.
And now, in 2026, I feel it again. Another five years of growth behind me. A solid foundation beneath my feet, built together with A. And once again, it’s time to enjoy the fruits of our efforts.
Sometimes we need to look back so our plans for the future don’t overshadow everything we’ve already made happen. To recognize how far we’ve come and give ourselves credit for the journey.
And to ask ourselves: am I enjoying my journey here and now? Am I noticing the life unfolding today, or am I always revisiting the past and waiting for the future?

2021 → 2026
