Introducing Lyte Drive.
For over a century, small boat propulsion has meant a propeller, a shaft and a gearbox. We’ve removed all three.
The Lyte+Jet is a patent pending electric jet drive, designed and built in Christchurch, Dorset. It’s quiet, emission free and safe around swimmers, wildlife and shallow water, with steering and reverse handled by a patented tiller system that deflects the jet.
Our first product, the Lyte+Jet 5, is on sale now, and a 30 kW version is in final integration.
Huge thanks to the team who got us here, and to Poole Harbour Commissioners and Innovate UK for backing our sea trials.
If you run boats in harbours, rivers, rescue, aquaculture or eco tourism, we’d love to talk.
