We all know that feeling: we’re passionate about a band, a hobby, or a person. The german lyrics of the song “Leidenschaft” (engl.: passion) describe this emotional state in intimate terms. The sound is defined by the dark synth bass and the driving drums. The elegiac rhythm guitars complement the german lyrics. Immerse yourself in the passion that brings us both, joy and sorrow.

Huge thanks to @9lounges Media for this glowing review of Beneath You! 🖤✨
.
They described our latest published work as a "haunting new collaboration" that merges dark wave, alternative rock, and synth-pop vibes. Creating this track alongside @david.sloan.35 was such an incredible journey, and reading about how the emotional weight, vocals, and production resonated with them means the world to us.
.
"Blending elements of dark wave, alternative rock, synth-pop, and atmospheric production, 'Beneath You' marks a powerful step beyond..."

The album that changed everything!!! Grit!

Thanks @paul_harwood_page for posting this as one from the Vault.

So I believe it came out officially in 2010 but pretty damn sure I had copies round 2009 and was selling them on the road. This album although my third solo album was not only my first in alphabet series, but also first full album I did with the incredible John Hannon (who I miss dearly for his friendship and guidance). Recorded at No recording studio I think late 2008. I found my voice and my sound for the first time. I’d stayed away from heavier sounds early on wanting a clean break from my among the missing days, but this I certainly drew elements of all my bands I’d been in previously. It also had the song that changed everything in Broken Bones not only was it a live favourite because a Capella nature I did it in (and I’m told it’s dead catchy). But my first music video thanks to the incredible @FabianLuchian which can see here…

It was released on my own short lived label Dislocation Deity Records and distributed via @lucindarecords

And has now been reissued on vinyl by @aaahh_rr on demand vinyl (as it was initially intended before budget made it a CD).
