. 18.8 exactly one month ago, we opened the doors to amara. i’ve spent countless days and nights getting the studio ready, defining and redefining the concept, designing and redesigning everything from the brand and space to our classes. and somehow, i’ve been even busier since we opened. but today, one month in, i just wanted to look back a little and appreciate everyone who’s been part of getting me here. amara was built from something i genuinely believe in — making quality reformer pilates more accessible, with no fluff. just good movement, good workouts and building real strength. it also became my playground to test different ideas and create different ways for people to train, whether with an instructor or independently, and to make pilates work for different people and different lifestyles. but this was also very personal for me. i wanted to step outside my comfort zone, challenge myself and learn something completely new. it’s been stressful and an emotional rollercoaster, but along the way i’ve met so many great people and talented individuals. i’m incredibly grateful for all the friends and family who have supported me and given me confidence when i needed it. still learning, still building, and still have way too many ideas i want to try. we’re only getting started. stay tuned — and come support us. 💙 and special thank you to @luahjewelry @hkwineguild @electroxlab for being part of our special day.
