Part of Me is out now 🌻🌱💌

I wrote Part of Me as a journaling exercise while sitting in my garden, watching the leaves of a tree sway in the wind. Pouring my thoughts onto paper helped quiet my mind, and before I knew it, I found myself writing about that tree. The way its branches moved, the shape of its trunk, the crisp sound of its leaves, and the sense of calm it gave me.

Without realizing it, I became present. That feeling stayed with me, and somewhere along the way, the notes in my journal turned into a song.

Life gets busy, and it’s so easy to spend more time living in tomorrow than in today. We worry about the future until we lose the peace that’s right in front of us.

Part of Me is my reminder to slow down and be present, even though I know that’s easier said than done. It’s also my way of thanking the tree in my garden for saving me from my own thoughts more times than I can count.

In its own quiet way, it became a part of me.

I hope this song gives you a small piece of the peace it gave me.

As always, thank you to the wonderful people without whom my art would not exist in this form.

Kicking off 2026 with the launch of @theoutsidersperspective Spring 2026 Accelerator Programme!

The amazing team at @elepiaproductions produced this video, where I discuss the opportunity that awaits the fashion, luxury and beauty industries to think differently about where the talent comes from and to onboard new skillsets to drive our industries back to growth.

“We have a global product, we have a global consumer, we are targeting global markets, but we do not have a global workforce.

There has been this perception that diversity is giving people who are disadvantaged an opportunity, yet the real opportunity exists for our brands. The candidates we are bringing are highly, highly skilled, and the industry really needs them. We have had a tunnel vision around our belief of what talent needs to look like to operate within fashion, luxury and beauty. But right now it’s become business critical that we widen our position, and that is exactly what @theoutsidersperspective is doing.

We believe, fashion, luxury and beauty should be leading on this conversation as we have the most to gain. We understand diversity when it comes to our outward face, our campaigns a catwalks, but not it when it comes to our headquarters”.

Apply now to be part of the change ➡️
