Home is your first space. Work is your second. So where’s your third?

A third space is anywhere outside home and work where people actually gather. Parks, rec centers, courts, libraries, community fields. The places where you run into your neighbors and build real connection. And in a lot of towns, they’re disappearing or were never built at all. Most of what’s left is a bar or a restaurant, and that’s not a third space for everyone.

On this episode, Kristi breaks down how @elevate_swfl is changing the game (no pun intended). Phase one is all about activating adult leagues in beach volleyball, basketball, soccer, kickball, and pickleball, and people are flocking in search of community and a good workout. Some are driving an hour just to play basketball because the local park doesn’t feel safe and the gym courts turn into 20 minute arguments over a foul.

Here’s the part people miss. When most folks hear “development,” they picture rows of stick built homes. But development also means the courts, fields, and gathering places that make a neighborhood worth living in. If you’re building community, you have to build the places where community happens.

What’s the third space your town is missing? Drop it below.

Before you give everyone else your time, give yourself some. ⏰🔥

Get up. Move your body. Drink your coffee in peace. Spend a few minutes deciding how you want to show up today before your phone starts deciding for you.

That morning routine is a promise to yourself: my health, my goals, and my peace deserve a spot on the calendar, too.

You can love your family, support your friends, and work your ass off without putting yourself last every single day.

In Episode 4 of Workout with Donnie, we talk about why those first moments matter. Link in Instagram bio

Caught in their element.

Chasing points, making plays, and enjoying every rally. Next round, same energy:
Monday - Scramble
Tuesday - M/W 2v2 (coed if there’s interest)
Wednesday - 3v3
Thursday - 4v4
Friday - open play for anyone in a league
Saturday - 6v6 Beer League | 4–8pm 🍻
(get 50% off your 6v6 beer league fee if you’re already in another league)

See you on the court 🏐

If I had to teach a class on one thing, what would I teach?

How to convince people your crazy idea is a business plan, then spend the next year solving the 10,000 problems you knew were coming. 😂

Why?

Because I believe the best ideas are worth the challenges that come with bringing them to life. And apparently, I find solving problems more entertaining than having free time.

And last night, we got to help solve a REAL problem. 💚

@elevate_swfl was proud to sponsor @fgcualumni Strikes for Scholarships at Headpinz Fort Myers, helping raise money for the FGCU Alumni Association Scholarship Fund and giving more students access to educational opportunities.

Because sometimes solving problems looks like building businesses and developing properties.

And sometimes it looks like bowling for scholarships. 🎳
