Training day with @canineinstinctssolutions and @trainlikeivan ! Recently, we attended the American Working Malinois Association’s first free training day. The instructors, @natalia.balabanov and @ivanb190 , were welcoming, kind and informative. I was over the moon at an opportunity just to audit for the day, when we were surprised with a working spot! Joining an extremely varied group of participants, Natalia and Ivan worked with us to trouble shoot and improve our training. I learned from literally every session that occurred that day. Ivan and Natalia explained the WHY of everything they were doing and made sure that everyone in the group was understanding it. I am honestly still processing everything I learned that day, there was just so much! Eleven and I worked with them to fix her leaky drive/barking in heel. We made so much progress that day which has continued and improved with every session.

I truly am so grateful for the incredible experience. Watching Ivan and Natalia work dogs barefoot under the sun on that beautiful farm was a day I will not forget! So much positivity, joy and learning focused community. Hopefully we will have a chance to work with them again one day!
