I can say a lot about the in and out of tearing my chest open each night, the audacity I have achieved allows audiences access to the depths of my soul ▪️ my heart is yours 🖤 if you don’t subscribe to bearing witness 👀 leave.

Give me heart, give me soul, give me your honest and give me your earnest. I will rip myself open so you can see what we can process, but processing it is on you 👁️ I love you ❤️

Small cities, towns, and villages beware. JUICE IS CATCHIN FIRE

Finding my center before my 7:30 extravaganza. I think the kids might describe my performance style as 'aggressively crashing out.'

No plans for tonight? Monkey thinks you should come and see the opening performance of The Journey at the Elgin Fringe Festival at 7:30!

When I was deciding what to use as a promo image for this show, a friend suggested that I use the picture I had of Monkey looking out the window of the truck, because it’s whimsical and would peak people’s curiosity.

The more I thought about it the more I realized he would be the perfect mascot for this show. Monkey traveled with me on both tours, 07-08 and 2016. In 2016 I even posted pictures on each tour stop of my “Home for the Week” and he was on my bed in every single one.

This week I brought him with me to Elgin to share some of my stories. He won’t be at my performances, but he was at my tech rehearsal on Wednesday and is now settled in to this week’s Home for the Week.

I’ve been telling some of these stories for almost 20 years and they have shaped who I am as a person more than almost anything else in my life. Getting to share them with an audience as part of something I’ve created is something I never thought I would have the opportunity to do, and I can’t explain how much it means to me.
