One of many OT thrillers from the first of many Barnyard Brawls!
••
But the reason we created this tournament goes way beyond wins and losses.
••
The Barnyard Brawl was built around one of the simplest and most important parts of development: FREE PLAY.
••
Backyard lacrosse. Pick-up games. Small-sided competition. Lots of touches. No coaches controlling every possession. No pressure to perform just play.
••
Just kids competing, creating, problem-solving and having FUN playing the best game in the 🌎
••
We wanted an environment where players could try things, make mistakes, play fast, be creative and figure the game out for themselves. That freedom is where so much real development happens.
••
Less structure. More touches. More creativity. More competition. More FUN.
••
That’s the Barnyard Brawl.
••
Hope everyone had a blast. We’re already looking forward to the next one.

I have dedicated my life to coaching! But it’s never just been about lacrosse.
••
My mission is to impact kids on and off the field, to push them to see something in themselves that maybe they can’t see yet.
••
I know I can be intimidating. I’m loud. I’m direct. I’m demanding, I challenge kids, I hold them accountable, and I don’t sugarcoat the truth. My passion can sometimes come across as harsh, scary, or even mean.
••
But it comes from one place: I care deeply about these kids.
••
I see their potential before they see it themselves.
••
I see what they’re capable of when they’re frustrated. When they’re struggling. When they want to take the easy way out. When they’re ready to settle for “good enough.”
••
And I refuse to let them.
••
Maybe they don’t always understand it in the moment. Maybe they won’t understand it for years. But I hope every kid I coach knows one thing:
••
Coach loves you. Coach believes in you. And Coach will never let you settle for less than what you’re capable of becoming.
••
Every kid’s path is different. They’ll find it in their own time.
••
My job is to keep pushing, keep believing, and keep showing up until they do. Because that is truly caring.
••
That’s coaching to me.
