Some seasons give you wins. Some seasons give you memories. But every once in a while, you’re lucky enough to get a team that changes you forever. The past two seasons with these boys have been the best of my coaching career. Not because of the record. Not because of the medals. Because I got to watch boys become leaders. I watched confidence replace doubt. I watched teammates become brothers. I watched each of them find their own role and understand that greatness isn’t about being the loudest or the most talented it’s about showing up for the people beside you. Over our last two tournaments, we went 17–3. But those numbers will never mean as much to me as the trust they gave me every single day. They bought into the vision. They trusted me when I pushed them. They believed in each other even when things got hard. As coaches, we hope we leave a mark on our players. The truth is… these boys have left one on me. Years from now, I probably won’t remember every score. But I’ll remember every laugh, every timeout, every comeback, every conversation, and every moment that made this group so special. You boys will always have a place in my heart, and I have no doubt you’ll do incredible things far beyond the volleyball court. Thank you for trusting me. Thank you for believing in what we were building. Thank you for making these past two seasons the best of my life. Once my boys, always my boys. The jerseys will eventually come off. The bond never will. ❤️🏐
