More Than Football. Bigger Than Ourselves. Skyridge Football spent an hour serving alongside the 5.12 Foundation, helping provide meals for 3,300 children facing food insecurity in our community this weekend. Football is about more than what happens between the lines. It’s about developing young men who understand the importance of service, leadership, brotherhood, and making a difference in the lives of others. An hour of our time can make a meaningful difference in someone else’s life. Thank you to the 5.12 Foundation for the opportunity to serve and for the incredible work you do for children in need. We serve something greater than ourselves. On the field, in the classroom, and in our community. Region III football never disappoints. Skyridge and Lone Peak battled all night. Back and forth. Every possession mattered. Every yard mattered. Every play mattered. With 1:09 left and the game tied at 24, the Falcons’ two-minute drill delivered. Skyridge marched down the field, setting up Evan Kopp for the game-winning field goal as time expired. Our @ford Drive of the Week Award this week may be the biggest no-brainer pick we have had this season! After watching Lone Peak rally from 15 down with just over a minute left to play and the Falcons facing a 3rd & long that if they don't pick it up they would be punting and putting the Knights in great field position, the Falcons turned to their stud QB to deliver! Fountaine not only took a draw play for a first down on that play, but then he threw a perfect throw to Eli Mortensen to get the Falcons into field goal range! With two seconds left Evan Kopp kicked in the game-winning field goal and Skyridge walked out with another impressive victory! @kslsports @tab.bank @mkomma2 @skyridgefb @jhemm3 @jagger_fountaine @malosi_shepard @omar1ann @evan_kopp09 @eli__m0rtensen
