@slowimpactaz was life changing to say the least. Futile attempt to share how my first time going has influenced me:
I work as hard as I can throughout the year. I recently went through some difficult big changes but this winter has been hard but pivotal. Anyone close to me knows I work mainly to give back to skateboarding, as it's given me so much. @overitprojectofrhinelander and @skatecampmidwest have truly been the most magical and rich parts of my life, all thanks to the people I'm involved with. During Slow Impact 2026 I learned a lot about what skateboarding and the people who make it can do, and do best together. I met so many creative artists, influential leaders and out-of-the-box thinkers. Approaching what I thought would mainly be a professional, goal oriented space, I made easy-going, caring and inspiring friends.
As time flies and struggles persist, I'm learning that I couldn't be more grateful, and frankly proud, to be surrounded by such a beautiful coherent community. The people I align with work tirelessly- and still know how to dance and raise hell. It feels like the older I get, the sweeter time tastes as I milk it with new and old friends from all around the world. Thank you @ryan_lay @slowimpactaz !
